My photography journey started in 2011 while a student at the University of Texas. I was in the process of applying to the art program when my dad gave me his used Canon 5D. Talk about love at first sight. I proceeded to take a deep dive into Austin's underground music scene, armed only with my camera and a flash.
Those nights capturing performers and attendees at iconic venues like Red 7, Emo's, and Mohawk taught me something invaluable: how to help people feel comfortable being seen.
Then COVID changed everything, and that unexpected break gave me clarity on what to create next. Now, I own Madison Avery Studio, where we help executives and entrepreneurs show up confidently in an increasingly digital world.
I often draw on those lessons from music venues – making people comfortable, capturing authentic moments, and telling visual stories that matter. Because here's the truth: we’re creating more than mere photographs. Together, we’ll create images that help you be seen authentically in a digital world. And in business, that makes all the difference
